Well, we have embarrassingly not written for a while here and it has to do with a variety of reasons that will not be discussed at themoment. The main news for the last weekis the introduction of InstaForex as a new partner we are promoting. Just when we thought the online forexindustry forgot how to entice new users, this online operator has swooped inwith a wide variety of bonuses and prizes but it also appeals to first timerswith its offer of $10 USD minimum deposits!

Their 30% deposit bonus works in the following manner:

Deposit at least $100 USD – for Bonus $30 USD
Deposit at least $300 USD – for Bonus $110 USD
Deposit at least $800 USD – for Bonus $200 USD
Deposit at least $5000 USD – for Bonus $1000 USD
Deposit at least $50000 USD – for Bonus $5000 USD

CORRECTION (31/10/2010): In addition to the bonus mentioned above, they also offer a a flat 30% signup bonus as well (based on your initial deposit, you will receive an amount that is 30% of that as a bonus). Basically, you are getting two options with InstaForex!

But to add to the normal sign-up bonus, this company actuallyinvests in other promotions to keep its users engaged. They already gave away a Hummer H3 and nowuntil 27 May 2011, they will give away a Lotus Elise using a prize draw. All you have to do to qualify is deposit atleast $1000 USD into your account and fill out a registration form found on theirsite.

Goodbye Tradeview Forex

The title may be a bit misleading; we meant to say ‘Goodbye Tradeview Forex from OnlineForexBonuses.com’ along with our sister sites OnlineForexAffiliates.com and Forexbazaar.com. Why you may ask? Well, we try to keep partners on our site that only interest our audience and it seems that no one is visiting Tradeview Forex at all! We would love to get your feedback and understand why.

At first we thought, maybe there is a glitch in their tracking system. Their affiliate program does come across a bit suspicious and lacking in sparkle: not a wide variety of marketing materials and we always did question their stats / reports; however, I have to say that even our own stats saw no visitors to their site (and yes, we do track our traffic ... all sites do these days so we hope you are not too shocked :)).

In the end of the day, we never want to become a long list directory of online forex platforms (there are plenty of those out there). We actually want to forge close relationships with our operator partners but at the same time make sure there is demand from you for their services. Unfortunately, this is no longer the case with Tradeview Forex.

Do not worry though; we are currently working on bringing other high calibre partners on board shortly to keep a good variety and offering going. We all also update this site more frequently as there will be now more focus on it. Check back for our latest updates.

10PIPS.com Affiliate Program

So, we receive an email last week from a representative of 10PIPS.com sayingthat from 20 July 2010, they will no longer pay affiliates for their trafficand that we should take down all marketing materials ... so we did :). It isno surprise this happened as there was always a suspicion of just how welltheir affiliate program was working especially in terms of tracking; however,it is appreciated that they communicated the program's termination to us.

This all stems down to running an affiliate program and doing that ina proper manner with experienced individuals behind it. It is no surprisethat sites like eToro.com, ForexYard.com, and Finexo are doing well with theiraffiliate program: they have the right tools and the right know-how in stayingcash positive in the industry. Running a good and profitable affiliateprogram is no easy task but if you oil the machine well, it can be an amazingcontribution in terms of new participants and revenues to the operator.

So for now, R.I.P 10PIPS.com Affiliate Program. We hope you sortyour issues out and come back from the grave soon. In the meantime, checkour other partners as they are all of good quality!

eToro Launches a New Social Trading Platform

Just when we thought nothing new was going to happen: eToro.com have launched their new social platform called Open Book. This online interface adds a new angle to trading online forex not seen before. Everyone belonging to the eToro.com community will be able to show off their trades, allowing other members to follow trades they like in real time!

On top of that, members will be able to copy trades that they like. Open Book brings a whole new dimension to social trading in online forex.

HY Markets Review

We recently added a new partner, HY Markets, in a continued effort to startlisting sites out there that actually offer something unique to our users. The initial issue that we have is that theredoes not appear to be any bonus or promotion on offer. So why would we even bother promoting themyou ask? New Online Forex Bonuses & Promos

As we are approaching the halfway mark in July, there does not appear to be much change in the world of online forex in terms of sign-up bonuses. In terms of promotions, AvaFX are offering their 'Gold Rush' promotion (ending 31st July 2010) encouraging the trade of this commodity. The bonus is up to €/$1,500 and its structure is the following:

Other than the above, nothing else really stands out (even Tradeview have continued to run their $3000 promotion). Hopefully, this lack of promotions is a seasonal item due to summer and will be reviewed and revamped soon. We will definitely keep you posted when it is.

Online Forex - A Little Rant

So, we have been going on for a few months now and our traffic is growing more and more. We want to thank our members for signing up and people for contacting us. We are aiming to bring more reviews and content to you within this exciting industry but we are facing a block: platforms still not communicating their offers clearly to the people!

We can all appreciate that the world of online forex is like the traditional meeting the modern / hi-tech but, with exception to a few sites, it appears to be like a never ending maze to find some promotions and sign-up bonuses. Therefore, moving forward, please start expecting more brutal reviews (I think we have been nice enough so far ... don't you :)?). Brutal NOT meaning that we are going to start using bad language (we always keep it professional :)) but brutal meaning that if we cannot find a bonus or promotion easily on a site then we are going to start making it clear.

Let's face the facts, it is an online trading platform's offers, promotions, and VIP / IB program that plays a significant role that sets them apart from their competitors. Sure there is also trading experience,customer service, etc .... but that you can look into on one of our partner sites.

So, people .... let us know your thoughts. Platforms .... stop hiding what you should be promoting prominently. We will most likely be adding a rating for this to either a current section or create a new one.

ForexYard Platform & Bonuses

As you may have seen, we added a new partner recently: ForexYard.com. This company offers its users a choice of platforms from ACT "ICTS" Platform to a JavaScript platform for browser based trading and an iPhone App so you can trade wherever you are and on whatever machine you use.

Also, they offer four different account types:SuperMini, Standard, Institutional, and FSA and they clearly outline what the benefits are of each account.

As you may have guessed by the name 'SuperMini' this is your entry level account that allows minimum deposits of $100 USD. Although it is a great starting point, be wary of fees and trading restrictions (which is something one always needs to look into with these online platforms).

As for the bonuses ... well, they are offering a 100% bonus, but it is not clear what the cap is (up to how much). If anyone knows the answer, please let us know (and well done for finding it). Also, this month they are offering 10% cash back up to $1000 USD. Meaning, if you deposit more that $10,000 USD your bonus will still be $1000 USD. The issue here is we cannot tell if this replaces their mysterious 100% bonus, or if you can get both, or even which one is better.

eToro June Promotions

Hello hello everyone. To change things up here, I am also going to start looking at other promotions being offered by online forex sites. This time around it is something I should have reviewed ages ago:eToro's promotions, but not for its traders, but rather for its affiliates / IBs that sign up to eToro Partners (their affiliate program).

Basically, eToro are giving away iPads (I am not personally a big fan but it seems most people on the planet are). They are giving them away to affiliates based on the following criteria:

* You must increase the amount of First Time Traders (FTDs) you brought in May by 30% in June

* In order to qualify, you must bring in a minimum of 10 FTDs

* Also, these FTDs need to have an average trader value of $200 (net revenues)

May's Bonuses & Updates

Hello everyone. It has been a bit of time since I last posted here as we were on break and have been working on ironing out another site. Additionally, I have noticed something: no new bonuses :(! I guess all the online forex brokers are happy with what they are offering at the moment.

In May, you will see our site evolve with more added features (as it already has been) but I will also try and explore other promotions that the online forex platforms are offering. Finally, I should be adding another forex partner or two BUT (and it's a huge but) I want to avoid becoming a long directory of online forex brokers. Let's face the facts, not all of them excel in offering a great experience and just like the comment on my Ava FX News & Promos post left by matteo, we want to hear more of your experiences with forex platforms as it will help us determine who to list and who to take off (believe me .... we do not get paid enough to keep anyone on our site :)).
